School Achievement

Our school has successfully attained the ISO9001:2000 management system certification since 25th November, 2003, through the accreditation body Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA).

As early as January 2001, our school had already attained the accredited certification of compliance with the ISO 9002:1994 requirements. It was a collaborative venture with financial support from the Quality Education Fund (QEF) and instruction by the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA). This certification demonstrates our commitment to quality and continuous improvement. The ISO system itself is also under continuous reviews to maintain the requirements as world renowned standards of quality. Every five years, a new version of the ISO requirements will be released, and certified organizations are also required to renew their accreditation every three years, apart from regular surveillance.

Our school has clear mission, objectives, and a systematic management system with effective processes for service. To meet the ISO9001:2000 standards, we have further strengthened our commitment to quality management, our concern for parents’ and students’ needs and satisfaction, our supervision over education services, our devotion to self-evaluation, and our effort on the continuous improvement mechanism.

In 2003, the Education and Manpower Bureau (EMB) launched the requirement for systematic school self-evaluation (SSE) in Hong Kong schools through the “Enhancing School Development and Accountability through School Self-evaluation” project. We certainly believe that through the ISO accreditation, our experience in quality management and our developing school self-evaluation culture can help us integrate the SSE elements into our school system and offer quality education to our students.

本校於二○○三年十一月廿五日通過了香港品質保證局(HKQAA)認證審核，獲得ISO9001:2000版品質管理體系認證。

早於二○○一年一月本校已獲得ISO 9002:1994版品質管理體系認證。該次認證由香港管理專業協會(The Hong Kong Management Association, HKMA)指導及獲優質教育基金(Quality Education Fund, QEF)資助。ISO要求機構建立持續改善機制以達優質服務，ISO之國際品質保證體系要求亦不斷改進﹐每隔五年更新版本，獲得認證之機構亦須每隔三年重新審核。

本校為符合ISO 9001:2000版品質管理體系認證之要求，除訂定清晰目標及程序化的管理系統外，並加強以下各點：領導層對優質管理的承擔、關注家長及學生的需求及滿意度、服務質素的監控、自我評估及持續改善機制的建立。

二○○三年教統局實施「透過學校自我評估促進學校發展與問責」，引入系統化的學校自我評估計劃，本校由ISO認證過程所建立之自我評估文化及所獲得之經驗將能配合教統局之學校自我評估計劃，必能為本校學生提供優質教育。
