means periodicity of the elements....
We found that the chemical properties of different elements (in ascending order of their atomic nos.) will be repeated. e.g. Li (3) -> ....-> Na (11) ->....-> K (19)....they have quite similar chemical properties....We called this repeated pattern a "periodic reccurence"
