FeS2 + 2HCl ------> FeCl2 + S2 + H2

which of the following above gas product has a pungent smell?

it's a question in the pass paper right?
The gas should be H2
be i can't balace the equation as well...

It is not a balanced equation !
Also, one or more than one of the formulae in the equation must be incorrect! Check the source carefully and don't waste time in tackling a wrong question.
